Causal organism – Oidium sp.
Symptoms:
- Distinct white, floury patches develop on the leaflets, most commonly affecting younger leaves.
- These patches gradually expand, and within 7–10 days may cover the entire leaf lamina. This progression has been notably observed during November–December under Godhra conditions.
- As the infection progresses, the patches often turn slightly pinkish or grayish in appearance.
- Tender shoots are also susceptible and may exhibit similar signs of infection.

| However, during warm weather and flowering periods, the application of sulfur should be avoided | Spray with Carbendazim 50% WP @ 2g/L or wettable sulfur @2g/L is found to be useful. |
