What is tip cutting of branches bearing fruits?

Tip cutting at 8-10 pair of leaves of branches bearing fruits after selected bagged fruit.

Why to do tip cutting?

It enhance the growth and quality of the fruit, by concentrating the nutrient flow towards the fruit.

When is the right time of tip cutting?

This can be done after bagging of fruits is completed.

How to do tip cutting?

First count the pair of leaves above the bagged fruits. The no. of leaves to be left should be not less than 8 pair. Chop off the branches remaining after 8-10 pair of leaves. As shown in the images below.
